Acting II is an intermediate acting class for those that have successfully completed Introduction To Acting, and Acting I. Suitable for persons with prior acting experience or training, either professionally or through multiple public performances in school, college or community theater. Audition may be required. Deeply improvisational in nature this workshop is intended to stretch the skills of each participant far beyond previous levels of confidence. Finding the deeper meaning in scripted work through shared interpretations, individual personality dissections , and psychologies of historical perspective. Discovery of methods used to capture audience emotion and character connection will be explored in great detail. All will be assessed in the ability to apply acting techniques in a variety of situations including auditions and responding to the unexpected in live or filmed performance.
