An introduction to
improvisational skills and techniques, this workshop is an excellent confidence
builder for anyone that auditions for acting work. In audition situations one is
frequently challenged to portray character "on the spot" with little or no time
to think about how it should be done. Improvisation I will introduce the actor
to simulated audition situations and help you refine your "off the cuff"
responses. Detailed performance instruction in timing, listening skills,
physical posturing, emotion and effective relations with fellow actors in
improvisational situations will be discussed and performed. Highly effective in
reducing anxiety or "stage fright". Improvisation I is one of the finest acting
and auditioning tools available.
